For all the ladies & people who love good R&B music, Jayforce presents....
"The R&B Suite 369 Mixtape" better known as "The Tiger Woods R&B SexTape"
Released on April 5th 2010 at 2pm during the World's Greatest Golfer's press conference at the Masters Golf Tournament! This particular mixtape was inspired by the recent events involving Tiger Woods' highly publicized infidelity outside of his marriage & the media circus revolving around all the complex relationships that somehow intertwine. Every song on this particular mixtape is relevant to every feeling of love, lust, power, money, fame, indiscretion, and other issues involving relationships. We poke a little fun at Tiger's expense, but the idea was to create an 'R&B Opera' type of project largely through the song placement in the mix & with the song selection itself.
'R&B Suite 369: The Tiger Woods SexTape' is the ideal blend of R&B joints from popular artists as well as the up & coming hitmakers. It's a perfectly mixed balance featuring soulful artists such as Erykah Badu, Raheem DeVaughn, & Robin Thicke alongside the uptempo club bangers from artists such as Usher, Trey Songz, Drake, & more!
Listen intensively to the themes throughout the project, share with your friends, but most importantly enjoy it!

Atlanta’s Premier Hip Hop show – The Beatz & Lyrics
Show with Jayforce – will proudly commemorate its ten year anniversary
with the release of a mixtape that captures the best of what the show
has represented since its inception. The Ten Year Anniversary Beatz &
Lyrics Mixtape features contributions by 40 emcees, producers and
musicians who came together in less than a week to record the 12-track
project.
Three days prior to the launch of the 2009 A3C Hip-Hop Festival, Beatz
& Lyrics founder Jayforce and producer Amond “AJ” Jackson realized
that the 3-day event would give them the unique opportunity to bring
together some of the most talented independent Hip-Hop artists and
producers from across the country. But while the internet has bred
quite a few long-distance collaborations among the indie Hip-Hop
community, that fateful weekend in October brought 150 like-minded
artists to the Atlanta area. Once AJ offered to open his studio, the
Salem Psalms Library, for 72-straight hours during A3C weekend, the
call went out for producers’ submissions for a one of a kind project.
“The plan was to let the artists fall through and listen to the tracks
without bias as to who produced them to see if they could create some
magic that would be good enough to make the cut on the
mixtape,” recounts Jayforce. “Fortunately many of the talented and
respected emcees living in Atlanta and from other cities around the
country answered the call. The primary piece of the puzzle was for
everyone visiting for A3C to do produce their best work in the time
allocated for the project. We ended up with artists from every region
of the map involved in the mixtape.”

My personal favorite independent artist, based here in Atlanta, recently passed away signaling a great loss to the city of Atlanta's hip hop scene. "Jax" of the Atlanta based group "Binkis Recs" suffered a heart attack while performing onstage. After being rushed to the hospital a number of us arrived only to find out that the rumors were true & that our friend was gone. It was definitely a sad day considering our friend had recently married & bought a new home with his beautiful wife Lisa. In addition there were quite a few opportunities in the works that was poised to take his career to even greater levels.
I feel like he didn't get his proper opportunity for the whole world to know his talent as many of us here in Atlanta recognized early on. Fortunately Jax left behind an incredible body of work for an independent artist who had a work ethic as aggressive as the late great Tupac Shakur. He has such a catalog of songs that one of his aliases was "Catalog Jax" because he recorded a wealth of material. While many artists coming up today are granted many opportunities & don't fully take advantage of them, Jax was never the type to stop working & keeping his skills sharp. Jax wasn't the type to wait for a record deal, a hot producer to put something together for him, wait for a paid show, or for someone to present to him opportunities for a label deal as he did for self in everyone one of these areas in terms of producing, writing & signing himself to his own label. This brother created his opportunities & it was only a matter of time before the world would've fully recognized his talents. Respected veterans in the hip hop game were already taking notice.
Jax was not only a talented artist, but he was definitely a great & special friend of mine. I will miss his jokes & his hearty laugh & positive demeanor. The Binkis Recs crew is one of my favorite groups based here in Atlanta. As a fan & a friend to these guys I've tried not to be too biased & overly show too much favoritism as to be fair enough to give other artists around the city a chance to be heard on the radio, but there was something special about "JAX" & his group "Binkis Recs" comprised of "Killa Kalm", "Flux", & "DJ Mafioso". If you may not have been familiar with "JAX" please listen to all 3 parts of our special dedication to one of Atlanta's best as we opened up the studios to many friends & family (some calling in from as far away as China) to talk about this great person & wonderful talent. His music is also available on ITUNES under "JAX" or "BINKIS RECS" please support.
We'll miss you man! Hopefully somewhere & somehow you can comprehend the wonderful impact you had on all of our lives.
Rest In Power, Rest In Rhymes, & Rest In Peace my friend! --- Jayforce

Two weeks before Kanye West & 50 Cent were to drop their new albums, Jayforce dropped this mixtape which is definitely a collector's item marking a historical moment in hip hop where 50 Cent battled Kanye West for the attention of the fans & the overall hip hop community!
As much as many people say that 50 Cent & Kanye West are like oil & water, we find them to be similar in many ways. The only major difference between the two really is the way they've achieved success & notoriety.
50 Cent & Kanye have both overcome personal setbacks that have only made them "stronger" whether it was being shot 9 times or being involved in a near fatal car accident. Even after these near fatal events they've both had to struggle to achieve success when many people didn't believe in these two artists when they were both underdogs just new to the game. It took either an Eminem or Dame Dash type of figure to truly give them their shot.
Both artists have made various outspoken comments on various issues that the media just loves to print. Flamboyant showmen that they are, these "Hip Hop PT barnums" have never had problems selling multi-platinum records. Their egos collided on September 11th 2007 in this historical hip hop battle.
Prior to the final sales figures being released their was alotta hype surrounding the two artists & it was interesting to see what tactics they employed to win. 50 Cent takes a sort of mixed martial arts approach to his beefs by attacking his opponents while Kanye has more of a finesse type of gameplan using Judo which is in essence using your opponents energy against themselves.
Overall it's easy to see the similarites in the music as well as their parallels in life experiences. Kanye tends to be a great producer whereas 50 has always surrounded himself with great producers all the while showcasing his great ear for quality production.
Enjoy this mixtape & share it with a friend! It's a definite classic!
